We had been looking for a miniature schnauzer to add to our family for a while. Each breeder we spoke to always came up short. Once we visited Evans Schnauzers web page and spoke to Greg, I knew our search was over. Here was a family that was dedicated to breeding healthy, happy, well adjusted, and beautiful schnauzers. Visiting with Greg and seeing his dogs just affirmed our decision. Greg is very proud of his dogs and has every right to be. We got our beloved Hank (pictured above) in January and loved him from the moment we saw him. He is a beautiful, healthy, and well-tempered dog who fits perfectly into our home and family. Everyone who meets him remarks on how well behaved and beautiful he is. Hank is extremely smart and a sweet gentle soul. We can’t say enough positive things about him. We could not have asked for a better dog.

We would like to write a note of thanks for the fine female miniature schnauzer pup. "Greta" is a excellent representative of her breed and we are thrilled to have found her. We are looking forward to many, many years with the newest member of our family. Our 8 grandkids are also thrilled to death! Thanks again.

Hi Evans Family,
We wanted to give you a progress report.
Both pups are excellent travelers. No motion sickness or distress at all. We drove to Paducah, KY on Friday after we left your house and the rest of the way home on Saturday. We had our Vet visit on Tuesday and all is well.
They are great additions to our family. Thanks again for all your words of wisdom and two fantastic pups.
Have a Merry Christmas and a Great New Year.

Dear Evans Family,
We wanted to tell you how pleased we are to have one of your puppies. Zoey is everything you said she would be, and more! Over the years, she is the fifth miniature schnauzer in our family, and by far, she is the most even tempered, eager to please, intelligent, gentle, loving and friendly of all! Greg, you told us to consider having Zoey sleep with us, and somewhat reluctantly, we decided to give it a try. Well, it’s been more than two months since we adopted her, and not one accident, just as you said. In fact, we have to wake her up most morning to take her out! And does she like to cuddle! Thanks again Evans family for a wonderful dog.

I have been providing Veterinarian care for the Evans’ going on 15 years now and with many customers in my career including breeders, the Evans have the distinction of having one of the healthiest group of dogs I can recall (I am nearing retirement). Other than minor/occasional needs and their regular vaccinations their schnauzers have the underpinning of markedly good quality health and are well cared for. I highly recommend their pups.

Attached is a testimonial on Heidi. I can't thank you enough for what you do with your dogs. This world needs more breeders like you. What beautiful animals you raise:
What a joy the Evans family has brought to our home!
After we lost our Miniature Schnauzer of almost 14 years, I couldn't face the prospect of becoming so attached to another dog only to lose it. My husband has dementia and when we lost our Gretchen he was beside himself. So I started to search online for breeders. One day I was online and ran across Evans Schnauzers. I liked what they had to say and called.
We met with Greg a few days later on his ranch. I was impressed. I liked what he had to say about his dogs and his beliefs on flea medication and the harm it does to a dog. We had spent thousands on our Schnauzer who had suffered from an auto-immune disease, cancer of the mouth, gall bladder surgery and a failing liver all of which I believe came from flea medication. Then he brought out Benito. What a beautiful dog. Then he brought out Lily (4-months old at the time) who just cuddled up on my lap. I could have taken her home right then. Needless to say, we were sold. We put our name on a waiting list and gave Greg a deposit.
Finally after what seemed like a long wait we brought home Heidi. She is adorable, full of energy, and enjoying all the attention she receives. We live in a 55 and over community and she is the hit of this community. We have people just stopping by to see her. Now at 11 weeks old she is pretty much housebroken, any accidents are usually my fault, enjoys playing and exploring our home, has learned the word “No!” and is very healthy and happy. She is very intelligent and learns quickly, her first day home she was responding to her name. Excuse me a second, my husband’s shoe just ran across the living room!
If you are looking for a Miniature Schnauzer, there is no better place than Evans Schnauzers. Heidi fills the vacant spot in my life that dementia has taken away with my husband. She is my companion, my joy, my little fur ball.
Thank you Evans family,
I realize this is a little long, but we just can't talk enough about our boys and the wonderful family they came from. We purchased our two puppies, Max and Baxter from the Evans Schnauzers and there's not a day that goes by that we can't get over how amazing they are. They are the most lovable little boys - not a mean bone in their precious bodies and they never cease to amaze us with their intelligence and their eagerness and ability to learn. We were very fortunate in having contacted the Evans’. After talking with them we knew that they were so concerned about the health and well-being of their dogs and that mattered so much to us. We visited them in the Fall and were very impressed with the environment that their dogs lived in. Their dogs were all family raised, well-behaved and friendly. We decided to purchase not one puppy but two! We got our boys in February and had our first visit to a veterinarian shortly after. The veterinarian could not get over their wonderful temperament, their friendly, calm and relaxed behavior. Needless to say we were very proud of our boys! Our groomer was so impressed with the calm and friendly nature they possessed and could not praise them and their behavior enough. And last but not least in the bragging department, Vivian and I have 8 grandchildren ranging in age from two years to thirteen years and they all love to play with our boys, from hide and seek (especially the younger ones) to just having them on their laps to love and cuddle with them and never once has there been any sign of aggression, growling, flaring of teeth or otherwise. So we are completely relaxed when our boys are around children and adults. The Evans’ are also very concerned with the health and well-being of their dogs and the proper diet for them. They were very helpful in choosing the right food and vitamins for them. To conclude, we are so completely satisfied with our mini-Schnauzer puppies and would highly recommend the Evans Schnauzers to anyone.

Abbey is the second dog that we have gotten from the Evans family. We couldn’t be more pleased. Both of our dogs are absolutely beautiful and so loving. We wouldn’t think of getting another miniature schnauzer from anyone else. When we got our Abbey, agility was not even a thought or consideration. Shortly before she turned 2 years of age, we took obedience classes. I thought that it would be something fun for both of us to do. Little did I realize at the time that these obedience classes would soon take us to agility classes. That is where the real fun began for both of us. Abbey just absolutely loves doing agility. When she sees me setting up a course in our backyard, she is almost screaming with excitement to get out and do it. She is always ready and anxious to go to agility class. This has been such a great bonding for us. I can’t imagine doing anything more exciting in my life and doing it with my best friend. Abbey has been such a true joy and blessing in our lives. She is a very affectionate and loving dog, always eager to please. She is so beautiful and has brought so much enjoyment to our lives.
